ISO 9001 QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Leveraging 120 years of experience in cutlery, and more recently in the design and injection molding of plastic components for knives, Mure et Peyrot now focuses on marketing cutting solutions that ensure maximum user safety.
Additionally, the company develops a comprehensive range of products for the windshield industry and the bakery market.

FOOD CONTACT SUITABILITY
To best meet your expectations, Mure & Peyrot has chosen to comply with French standards, as these are more stringent than European standards for safety knives and industrial blades. For instance, the decree of January 13, 1976, mandates that food-grade stainless steel blades contain a minimum of 13% chromium, whereas European standards only require 12.5% chromium.
This choice therefore ensures compliance with both French and European regulations. However, it necessitates the procurement of specialized steels, which accounts for the cost of our products.
- The food contact suitability of plastic and metallic materials has been confirmed by several French laboratories. All their reports can be made available to potential requesters. This suitability is contingent upon the use of authorized substances within specified limits regarding restrictions and/or specifications.
- The components of our products are not likely to pose a risk to human health, cause an unacceptable alteration in the foodstuff's composition, or impair its organoleptic properties.
We place paramount importance on user safety, and each of our knives offers a carefully designed and adapted safety feature.
