Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the commitment of companies to act ethically and responsibly, taking into account the impact of their activities on society and the environment.
This concept encompasses all the practices implemented by a company to integrate social, environmental, and economic concerns into its activities and its interactions with its stakeholders, such as employees, customers, suppliers, the local community, and society as a whole.
The 4 main dimensions of the CSR approach:
- Economic:
This pillar concerns the company's commitment to generating economic profits in an ethical and responsible manner. It encompasses several practices such as value creation, transparent financial management, compliance with laws and regulations, as well as contributing to the economic development of local communities.
- Social:
The social aspect focuses on relations between the company and its internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and society. This pillar emphasizes good working conditions, occupational health and safety, social inclusion, and respect for human rights.
- Environmental :
This dimension allows the company to engage environmentally and minimize its ecological footprint. It aims to maximize the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, ensure responsible management of water and waste, and adopt sustainable technologies.
- Corporate governance:
Corporate governance concerns how a company is led and its way of conducting actions. Governance encompasses the transparency and responsibility of management, consideration of the interests of each stakeholder, compliance with ethical standards, and the fight against conflicts of interest.
By acting responsibly in these four areas, a company can contribute significantly to sustainable development and long-term value creation for all its stakeholders.
Mure & Peyrot achieves EcoVadis Silver certification:

We are proud to announce that our company has achieved the EcoVadis Silver certification, demonstrating our commitment to CSR.
EcoVadis is a platform dedicated to the global assessment of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It examines various criteria such as the environment, human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. These assessments help companies identify their strengths and areas for improvement to strengthen their sustainability.
Achieving this certification is based on a customized questionnaire used to evaluate the CSR management system within a company. EcoVadis assesses the CSR management system using the 7 pillars established by the ISO 26000 standard:
- Organizational governance
- Human rights
- Labor practices
- The environment
- Fair operating practices
- Consumer issues
- Community involvement and development
This approach allows us to evaluate our CSR management system. Based on the score achieved, we receive a medal indicating the quality of our system. The certification evaluates our actions, meeting 21 criteria defined by the 7 pillars of the ISO 26000 standard, and helps us define our areas for improvement and thus implement solutions to improve our CSR management system.
Our CSR commitments to stakeholders:
To integrate all of these concerns into its CSR strategy, Mure & Peyrot must reinvent itself. In order to implement actions, we conducted surveys among all our stakeholders to identify the objectives that allow for an impact in terms of CSR.
As a key player, Mure & Peyrot is committed through concrete action, enabling us to improve performance and meet the requirements of our customers and the expectations of our stakeholders.
